My Story
After earning his bachelor’s degree in advertising, Andy began his career in print media at the Ann Arbor News, an award-winning daily newspaper in Michigan. As the paper’s sister website grew in readership, he transitioned seamlessly into digital design - adding animation, video editing, and responsive rich media to his arsenal. Eventually, Andy transferred to the News’s parent company, Advance, owner of several local media groups and marketing agencies across the country. Here, he designed compelling ads for a vast variety of clients from New York to Alabama.
In 2020, Andy started a new chapter at a digital marketing agency, quickly rising to Creative Director and leading an eight-person team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media specialists, and UI/UX professionals. In addition to traditional digital marketing, he also led rebranding efforts, creating brand guides, logos, and strategies for clients. He produced several local and national commercials - writing scripts, storyboarding, directing video-shoots, and post-production editing.
In his free time, Andy is an animal lover and avid concert-goer who enjoys traveling with his wife Joy.
